Purpose & Mission

For the Working Lady was birthed in 2019 from a constant dilemma of finding quality, stylish and affordable work shoes locally (in the Bahamas). In our opinion, the right shoe can make or break your outfit!

At For the Working Lady we are passionate about shoes. We have spent hours upon hours trying to find the right shoe, identify the right brands and at the best price! No matter what type of shoe you’re looking for, we want to be your go-to store.

In addition to all of your favorite brands (Ninewest, Jessica Simpson, Guess, etc.), we carry Brazilian brands including Vizzano and Beira Rio.

Our goal is to ensure that every working lady can walk in STYLE!

  • Store Hours

    Sunday/Monday - CLOSED

    Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm

  • Returns

    We allow returns on all purchases including sale items. All merchandise must be unworn and in the same condition it was received. Products must be returned in the original box and/or packaging.

    Note: Customers are responsible for return/exchange shipping or delivery fees. Items must be returned or exchanged within five (5) business days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

  • Layaways

    Items can be placed on layaway with a 30% minimum deposit. They are held for 30 (thirty) days.

    Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!

    If items are not picked up within thirty (30) days, they will be cancelled, and the deposit forfeited.
